Hannah loves to write romantic, atmospheric fiction filled with complicated hearts, close-knit communities and hard-won happy endings.
Her stories range from contemporary Scottish romance and romantic suspense to emotional science-fiction romance, but they are united by characters searching for belonging, connection and the courage to be truly seen.
Hannah previously worked as a junior editor in children’s publishing and has written and edited professionally for several years. After spending much of her career helping other people bring their stories to life, she is now concentrating on her own novels.
Inspired by her Scottish heritage, Hannah is particularly drawn to dramatic landscapes, village communities and stories in which home is as much a person as it is a place.
When she is not writing or reading romance novels, she can usually be found enjoying listening to her husband playing the bagpipes, spending time with her family or planning her next fictional emotional catastrophe.
