Meet Stefanie & Peter
Stefanie McRae owns a bookshop in a community village, Ravenburn, on the Scottish Border — and has never been particularly good at doing anything quietly, including her growing obsession with masked biker MidnightRev94. Peter Wallace is her librarian best friend, roommate and dependable constant, the man who knows her better than almost anyone. What Stefanie does not know is that Peter has been keeping one very large secret from her.

The Story
Stefanie McRae has a problem. She cannot stop watching MidnightRev94, the masked biker whose tattoos, motorbike and thoroughly inappropriate online presence have become her latest obsession.
Her best friend and roommate Peter Wallace could not be more different. He is a cardigan-wearing librarian, dependable, familiar and permanently at Stefanie’s side. He is also hopelessly in love with her.
And he is MidnightRev94.
While Stefanie fantasises about the mysterious man behind the mask, Peter is forced to watch her fall for a version of himself she does not know exists. But secrets have a habit of escaping, and when the two sides of Peter’s life collide, their friendship may not survive what Stefanie discovers.
